Cookie policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar storage the Bibha website uses, what each one does, the legal basis for using it and how you can change your choices.

On this page

Summary

The Bibha website uses one strictly necessary item of storage: a record of your cookie choice, saved in your browser when you make it. Everything else is optional and stays off until you switch it on. Google Analytics 4 shows us how the website is used, and Calendly runs the booking calendar.

Accept optional cookies switches on both, Reject optional cookies keeps both off, and Cookie settings lets you choose each one separately. You can change your choice at any time. Bibha does not set advertising cookies.

Who we are

This policy covers the Bibha website at bibha.ai. The website is operated by Bibha AI Labs Private Limited (CIN U62099KA2024PTC193869), Villa 92, JRC Palladio, Attibele Road, Billapura, Sarjapura, Anekal, Bangalore 562125, Karnataka, India. Bibha AI Labs Private Limited decides how cookies are used on this website. It is the controller under the GDPR and UK GDPR, and the Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

Our affiliate Bibha AI Inc., 3790 El Camino Real, Ste 853, Palo Alto, CA 94306, United States, is the contact point for residents of the United States. Both companies follow this policy. In this policy, "Bibha", "we" and "us" mean Bibha AI Labs Private Limited and Bibha AI Inc.

What cookies and similar storage are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. A first-party cookie is set by the website you are visiting. A third-party cookie is set by another service, such as a calendar shown inside the page. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser, and persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.

Local storage is a similar technology. It lets a website keep information in your browser without sending it with every request. In this policy, "cookies" covers cookies, local storage and similar technologies.

How we use cookies

Strictly necessary

The website saves your cookie choice so it can respect it on every page. This is the only strictly necessary storage it uses, and it is always on. Without it, the website would ask for your choice on every page. It is not used to identify or track you.

Analytics

If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are used, so we can improve the website. Google Analytics then sets two cookies on this website's domain. Until you allow it, the website does not load Google Analytics and sends nothing to Google.

When analytics is on, we send Google Analytics a page view when you open a page, with the page address but no query string or referring address, and one event when an enquiry you send is accepted. Google Analytics also receives standard information from your browser, such as browser and device type, language and approximate location. We do not send your name, email address, company, enquiry text or the details you enter to book a meeting.

Google signals, advertising features and ads personalisation are switched off.

Booking calendar

If you allow the booking calendar, the website loads Calendly inside the booking window after you enter your details. Calendly receives technical information from your browser and the details you enter, so it can arrange the meeting, and it sets its own cookies. Calendly states that it uses cookies and similar technologies to improve and personalise your experience, to understand website interactions, including clicks, cursor movement and screen recordings, and for marketing.

Calendly's own cookie banner is not shown, because your choice in Cookie settings decides whether Calendly loads at all. If you do not allow the booking calendar, Calendly is not loaded and you can send an enquiry instead.

Google notes that browsers can shorten cookie lifetimes when you do not return: Chrome to a maximum of 400 days and Safari to 7 days. Calendly decides how long its cookies last.

The website sets no other cookies or similar storage, and no advertising or marketing cookies of its own. The enquiry form and the booking window do not save what you type in your browser.

Before you make a choice

Until you choose, analytics and the booking calendar stay off. The website does not load Google Analytics or Calendly, sends nothing to Google and saves nothing in your browser.

The cookie banner shows Accept optional cookies, Reject optional cookies and Choose settings with equal prominence. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. The website works the same whichever you choose, except that picking a time in the calendar needs Calendly. You can always send an enquiry instead.

How we remember your choice

When you choose, the website saves a record named cookie-consent in your browser's local storage. It holds a version number, your analytics choice, your booking calendar choice and the date. It contains no identifier and is never sent to Bibha or anyone else.

The record does not expire, and we do not ask again after a set time. We ask again only if you clear your browser storage, if your browser does not let the website save the record, or if we change our cookies or their purposes in a way that needs a new choice.

Your choice applies only to the browser you made it in. On another browser or device, the website asks again.

If your browser blocks site storage, the website cannot save your choice. Optional services then stay off for that visit, even if you accepted them, and the banner returns the next time you load the website.

Change or withdraw your choice

You can change your choice at any time, as easily as you made it. Select Cookie settings at the bottom of any page, the cookie button in the lower corner of the screen or the Cookie settings button at the top of this page. Your new choice applies straight away.

If you switch analytics off, the website stops Google Analytics, deletes the Google Analytics cookies it set on this website and, if Google Analytics was running, reloads the page. Data collected before then stays in Google Analytics for up to 2 months at the level of individual events. Aggregated reports, which show totals rather than individual visits, are not affected. Our privacy policy explains your rights over this data.

If you switch the booking calendar off, Calendly stops loading on this website. Cookies Calendly has already stored stay in your browser until they expire or you delete them in your browser settings.

We use the same opt-in approach for every visitor, wherever you are. The laws that apply depend on where you are.

European Union and European Economic Area

Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and the national laws that implement it, such as section 25 of Germany's TDDDG, allow information to be stored in or read from your browser only with your consent, unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for. We therefore ask for your consent before setting any optional cookie. The consent record is strictly necessary and needs no consent.

For personal data collected through optional cookies, our legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, and withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before (Article 7(3) GDPR). To the extent the consent record is personal data, we keep it on the basis of our legitimate interest in respecting your choice (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

United Kingdom

Regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (PECR) applies the same rule in the UK. We ask for your consent for every optional cookie, including analytics, and rely on consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR for the personal data those cookies collect. The consent record is strictly necessary and needs no consent.

India

Where the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 applies, we process personal data through optional cookies only with your consent. Under section 6 of that Act, consent must be free, specific, informed, unconditional and unambiguous, given by a clear affirmative action, and you can withdraw it at any time as easily as you gave it. Optional cookies stay off until you switch them on, and you can switch them off in Cookie settings.

Our Grievance Officer, Prashant Kumar, handles questions and complaints about cookies at privacy@bibha.ai. If your grievance is not resolved, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

United States

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as the California Consumer Privacy Act defines those terms, and we do not process personal data for targeted advertising under other US state privacy laws. Because there is no sale or sharing to opt out of, the website does not offer an opt-out.

Optional cookies stay off until you switch them on, so the website does not change its behaviour in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. If you allow the booking calendar, Calendly may use its own cookies, including marketing cookies, which can collect information about your online activity over time and across websites. Calendly's privacy notice explains its practices.

Google and Calendly

Google provides Google Analytics and Calendly provides the booking calendar. Each may process the information its cookies collect outside your country, including in the United States. Our privacy policy explains how we protect international transfers.

Control cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies and other site storage. If you delete or block the consent record, the website cannot remember your choice and asks again each time you load it. The website and its enquiry form work without any optional cookies. Your browser's help pages explain how to manage cookies.

Changes to this policy

When the cookies we use or their purposes change, we update this policy and the date at the top of this page. Before we add any cookie that needs your permission, we ask for it, and the cookie banner appears again.
